IST REGULATORS
This is a balanced diaphragm regulator. The R-410 consists of the R-4 First Stage and the O-10 Second Stage. If you want the regulator to be sealed from the environment, to avoid freeze-ups and/or contamination, the R-4N is the same as the R-4 except there is a All Condition Enviromental Seal that attaches to the diaphragm side of the First Stage. The 4 low-pressure ports are fixed. The R-410N is the R-4N attached to the O-10 Second Stage. The O-10 Second Stage is flow adjustable.
This is a balanced diaphragm regulator. The R-510 consists of the R-5 First Stage and the O-10 Second Stage. If you want the regulator to be sealed from the environment, to avoid freeze-ups and/or contamination, the R-5N is the same as the R-5 except there is a All Condition Enviromental Seal that attaches to the diaphragm side of the First Stage. The 4 low-pressure ports swivel. The R-510N is the R-5N attached to the O-10 Second Stage. The O-10 Second Stage is flow adjustable.
The R-520 and 520N are the same as described above except the Second Stage does not have a flow adjustment.

And, if the diver feels that less air is desirable there is a sensitivity adjustment on the second stage that will reduce the airflow to whatever is desired. The opening effort is adjustable from 0.5 to 2.0 inches of water. In effect, the diver is able to easily adjust the air flow while diving!
