PORTABLE PAINTBALL FILLER the ECONOMY PAINTBALL FILLER
Picture above is the Portable Paintball Filler. It simply attaches to a standard scuba tank, with the other end to the paintball gun. The bleeder valve (at the bottom) is closed and air is introduced into the gun. The compact gauge (0-5000 psi) tells you the exact pressure in the gun as well as in the filler. The scuba tank is then shut off and the bleeder is opened to release the pressure so the paintball gun can be easily removed. This device will withstand pressures to 3400 PSI (232 Bar)!

SCBA FILLER
Do you want to fill your painball gun directly from a CGA 347 fitting. These fittings are usually found in fire departments that fill their Scott, DiveAir, etc. air packs. The part on the left is the same as that found on the valve of the tank. Simply, the compressor, or cascade system, has a whip (hose) that is used to fill the firefighter's tank up to 4500 psi. This device would fit on the end of the whip, and the other end is a quick-disconnect that goes on the paintball tank. The fitting is designed for 5000 psi service. PAINTBALL TANK FILLING APPARATUS
The PAINTBALL TANK FILLING APPARATUS consists of an air tank that holds about 140,000 cubic inches of air and yet weighs only about 35 lbs. Attached to the tank is a filler that contains all the fittings to go from the tank to the paintball gun filling nipple. There is an air gauge on the filler to monitor the pressure in the tank as will be noted in the following picture:
The PAINTBALL TANK FILLING APPARATUS is filled at a local scuba or air products shop for about $5.00. The pressure in the tank after filling will be about 3000 psi. When the pressure drops to 1500-2000 psi the tank can be refilled. Even at the low end of the pressure there will be enough air put in the gun to provide plenty of shots.
Filling From the Apparatus to the Gun
Paintball expert, Jim Manganiello (above), is in the process of filling the paintgun tank from the PAINTBALL TANK FILLING APPARATUS. Simply, the fitting is attached to the valve on the tank and the other end is attached by the supplied quick-release to the paintball gun tank. The tank valve is turned on and the gun tank is filled. The air is easily released from the line and the quick-release is disconnected. You are now ready to shoot!

Using a 47 cubic inch paintball gun tank and the PAINTBALL TANK FILLING APPARATUS loaded to 3000 psi, the following results were obtained using rapid and repeated fire:
There you have it. For a cost of about $5.00 you can get approximately 17,500 shots on 22 fills! If you have a larger paintball gun tank (e.g., 68 or 114 cubic inch) you still get approximately the same number of shots but there would be less fills. Also, you could get more shots if you decide not to fill the main PAINTBALL TANK FILLING APPARATUS tank until it drops to a lower pressure!
